Paw Patrol to the Rescue!

This year  my daughter wanted a Paw Patrol themed birthday celebration. I was so excited when I found awesome party ideas and printables from Nick Jr. Everything you need or could think of they have ready for an instant download for free! This was truly a lifesaver…..

All of the projects were DIY and I had a ball. These cute and colorful gable boxes I picked up at Michael's. They were perfect because they coordinated with each of the Paw Patrol characters. I used the Paw Patrol Treat Topper template from Nick Jr and used them on the front of the gable boxes. My Sweet Pea loves Marshall the Firefighter. Too cute!

I also decided to use the toppers for the party hats. Nick Jr. provides a party hat template but I wanted to do a little crafting :). Her little preschool class loved each of the treats and goodies.

In addition to the party supplies from Nick Jr., I also printed out coloring mats for each student in her class. Once they finished cupcakes and ice cream they pulled out the crayons and got busy! I think my little Sweet Pea and her friends were very happy….…Happy Birthday beautiful!

Have a Blu day!

Minnie Mouse Birthday Soiree

My daughter's birthday is coming up on St. Patrick's Day and last year we had a Minnie Mouse themed party. It was amazing and had some awesome party people help me pull this off. Some projects were DIY projects but I had a great time creating a special day for my little Sweet Pea.

We ordered a custom Minnie Mouse tee from MyIttyBittyShoppe. They were extremely efficient and the shirt was perfect. My little Minnie couldn't stop smiling!!

The Minnie Mouse ears for the little guests were a DIY project. While doing a little research, I came across a template for the ears. I used the template from The Suburban Mom. I decided to use the heavy black felt I purchased at Michaels for the ears which seemed to be very sturdy. I got a few spools of black ribbon, and a pack of 10 headbands from the Dollar Tree. I wasn't able to locate as many black headbands so that is why I decided to just use black ribbon to wrap the headbands I purchased.

Custom Minnie Mouse cake pops were made by a family friend as a gift for my little one and guest. They were amazing!

All of the party printables were from the ever so talented Michelle of Printabelle. The printables were all free items listed on her website. I just added the Something Blu touch to make it pop! The black & white straws and pink picture frames were from Michael's. Always have what I need!

The hot pink popcorn boxes and table runner were from Oriental Trading Company. Here are some other pictures from the soiree!

The Minnie Mouse banner was another DIY project. I used the same template from The Suburban Mom for the base. For the white pinwheel I folded white card stock like a fan, opened and glued the ends together. For the letters I used letter die cuts. Each Minnie Mouse head shape punched a hole thru and tied together with two different types of ribbon. All of the paper supplies I purchased from Michael's.

Make sure to check back for this years Paw Patrol birthday for ideas and more DIY projects!

Have a Blu day!
